Investing in Health and Community: New Support for the Clinical Center of Montenegro

As a company that believes responsible business practices are just as important as business success, we are proud to have donated a state-of-the-art ultrasound machine to the Department of Gastroenterohepatology at the Internal Medicine Clinic of the Clinical Center of Montenegro (KCCG). This modern device will significantly enhance the diagnostic capabilities of the country’s largest healthcare institution.

The ultrasound is used to examine the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, and other abdominal organs. Its high-resolution imaging allows doctors to make faster and more accurate diagnoses, while patients benefit from immediate, painless, and radiation-free results. This not only raises the quality of healthcare but also makes the daily work of medical staff easier and more efficient.

The donation was officially presented to KCCG’s director, Dr. Aleksandar Radović, in the presence of the Department’s medical staff, ALK Group owner Adnan Bajramović, and representatives of ALK Montenegro.

On this occasion, Tarik Telačević, Director of ALK Montenegro, said: “We are extremely proud to contribute to the improvement of healthcare services in Montenegro. By donating this ultrasound machine, we want to support KCCG’s work and help doctors provide precise and efficient diagnostics. We believe responsible business is the foundation of community development, and we encourage other companies to follow this example and give back to the society in which we live and work.”

His words were supported by Dr. Radović, who emphasized: “This donation is more than just medical equipment, it is a symbol of solidarity and a shared commitment to the health of our citizens.”

Dr. Olivera Sekulić, Head of the Department of Gastroenterohepatology, also underlined the importance of the gift: “This is an investment in the health of our patients. The device allows us to perform faster and more precise diagnostics, which means a great deal for our overburdened department. We are grateful for the trust and support, and we promise to put this equipment to the best possible use.”

Over the past 40 years, we have built millions of square meters of space, but what we are equally proud of are the projects that improve people’s lives. Beyond investments in healthcare, we have supported a variety of infrastructure and community initiatives, from installing modern city lighting in Tivat, to building playgrounds, new roads, and even a city fountain.

As Adnan Bajramović points out: “Our mission is not only to construct buildings and create economic value, but also to actively contribute to the development of the community. True progress means working together and caring for people.”

The donation of this ultrasound machine to the Clinical Center of Montenegro is just one step in our broader vision. We will continue to invest in projects that improve healthcare, education, infrastructure, and urban spaces, because we believe that is the best way to create a better and healthier environment for everyone. For us, corporate social responsibility is not just a phrase, it is part of our everyday practice.
